Program History
The Charlottesville Scholarship Program was established in 2001 with an initial gift from City Council of $250,000. Since then, CSP has grown its endowment to over $1.3 million, and has awarded 223 scholarships totaling more than $1.3 million.

Andi Senatro, Program Director
Program Staff
Andi brings over a decade of leadership, operational excellence, and mission-driven strategy to her role with the Charlottesville Scholarship Program. With a deep background in nonprofit operations—including donor stewardship, compliance, financial administration, and organizational systems—Andi plays a pivotal role in strengthening the foundation upon which our scholars thrive.
Andi is passionate about building vibrant community connections and empowering students to reach their full potential. She oversees scholarship operations, key development initiatives, donor engagement, and board operations, ensuring our scholars feel fully supported.
Outside of work, Andi is an advocate for wellness and lifelong learning, holding a B.A. from Lipscomb University and advanced training in mindfulness and community care.
The Charlottesville Scholarship Program is a fund of the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit.
